The objective of the Doctoral Programme is the observance of tasks and missions derived from the Royal Decree 99/2011, of 28 January, by which the Doctoral studies are regulated in the current Spanish university system. Its fundamental objective is, thus, to complete the undergraduate studies of philosophy, offering to the students interested in developing regulated research tasks a recognition and a institutional and academic platform with suitable means and teaching staff that allows their integration in research groups.
Doctoral studies will guarantee, at least, the acquisition by the doctorate candidate the basic competences that are listed in the Spanish Qualitications Framework for Higher Education (MECES, within the QF-EHEA), i.e.: systematic understanding of the field off study of legal sciences, and command of his/her skills and research methods; ability to produce, design or create, put in practice and adopt a substantial research or creation process; ability to carry out critical and assessment analysis and synthesis of new and complex ideas, as well as communication with academic and scientific community and with society in general about its knowledge areas; and ability to promote, in academic and professional contexts, scientific, technological, social, artistic or cultural advance within a knowledge-based society.
