Master's Degree in Research in Specific Didactics

CE1: Design and validate reliable tools for data collection in qualitative or quantitative research in Specific Didactics.
CE2: Use appropriate bibliographical references that are relevant scientific background to the proposed research.
CE3: Design a research project by defining the problem and its scientific field, the research questions, the appropriate theoretical framework, the necessary methodological tools, and specifying its limitations.
CE4: Evaluate current research problems on teaching or learning in the fields of knowledge characteristic of Specific Didactics.
CE5: Synthesise historical, epistemological and ontological aspects associated with the emergence and evolution of research in Specific Didactics.
CE6: Evaluate the relevance of a research project, its quality and future projection, with scientific criteria appropriate to the international standards of the studied speciality.
CE7: Choose an appropriate theoretical framework to adequately answer the research questions posed.
CE8: Synthesise the knowledge provided by the most important research lines in Specific Didactics.
CE9: Analyse and evaluate research projects on a topic of current interest in Specific Didactics in order to fully or partially replicate them.
CE10: Know how to select and apply the most appropriate technique according to the type of material to be characterised and the objective to be achieved.
CE11: Synthesise relevant research problems on learning or teaching in the disciplines belonging to Specific Didactics.
CE12: Value the social importance of research in Specific Didactics and the need to apply the results of research to improve the quality of education and make it available to all citizens.
CE13: Search and synthesise information on research results in bibliographic, material, virtual, etc. repertoires useful to support a new research project.
CE14: Critically analyse, from the point of view of research in Specific Didactics, the performance of teaching, good practice and guidance using quality indicators.
CE15: Develop and apply innovative teaching proposals in the field of specialisation in each specific didactic area.
CE16: Understand and apply specialised research procedures in Specific Didactics.
CE17: Analyse current tools and methods used in didactic research in order to develop didactic units for innovation and research in the classroom.
CE18: Identify, analyse and evaluate national or international research publications in the field of Specific Didactics.
CE19: Be able to design and develop research projects in educational classroom contexts related to Specific Didactics.
CE20: Decide, with objective criteria, which methodological paradigm quantitative, qualitative or mixed best fits the objectives of your own research.
CE21: Apply the methodological resources necessary to develop research in accordance with the current criteria of quality, validity and reliability of Specific Didactics.
CE22: Formulate testable hypotheses based on the research questions initially posed, in coherence with the chosen theoretical and methodological contexts.
CE23: Adequately analyse and evaluate the partial and final results of one's own research and contrast, refute or modify the first hypotheses.
CE24: Generate a scientific report in which the results of the research work carried out are publicly presented to members of the research community of Specific Didactics.
CE25: Submit one's own research in a rigorous manner that is appropriate to the context or means of communication of the presentation (scientific or informative publication, congress, course aimed at researchers or teachers, etc.), respecting the criteria of quality and validity.
CE26: Use a computer programme for the appropriate processing of data obtained in a research.
CE27: Design and develop a research project, with a scope adjusted to the deadlines of the Master's Degree, in order to bring into play in a cohesive and coherent way the research skills acquired in other modules.
CE28: Choose an appropriate methodological framework to generate answers to research questions and master the use of the necessary methodological techniques.
