Tax Deduction Projects for R&D&I and Patent Box, Friday 2 December 2016 from 17:30 to 20:30.

In this seminar will be approached legal aspects related to tax deduction projects for R&D&I in enterprises. Among the tools the administration has in order to encourage business innovation, there can be found tax incentives and allowances. The tax incentives are based on deductions in the corporate tax for the realisation of innovation and development and technologic innovation projects. The tax allowances, in the company quota for social security of the research staff.
These tools have a horizontal nature, and their application is free and general (there is no competitive concurrence or a predefined limited budget). Their objective is to motivate the initiative of private sector, without conditioning the innovative area on which the enterprise is focused (they are not limited to concrete areas, programmes or initiatives).

There will be two case studies of implementation of communication infrastructures in the city council of Sagunto. On the one hand, there is a project for the renovation of corporate network’s infrastructures. On the other hand, there is a project for the implementation of WiMAX network for security management of public buildings and traffic management.
Finally, there will be an initiative for boosting Its in Sagunto (project SagunTICs), with a strategy intended to the revitalisation of entrepreneurship and development of ideas on the territory.
