Description

Description

This project is led by members of the consolidated teaching innovation team GCID24_3199380 and represents a continuation of the line we have been working on since 2020 through four different educational innovation projects. Its objective is to promote cooperative learning between local students and international mobility students (incoming) to encourage the development of professional and intercultural skills. At the same time, it aims to promote the collaboration and coordination of the teaching staff of the University of Valencia within the discipline of Organizational and Work Psychology. To this end, new teachers have joined the team. This project aims to design and apply different teaching-learning resources and activities that will take as a reference different theoretical models that allow the analysis of critical organizational processes considering their cultural dimension (e.g., GLOBE project, implicit theories of leadership, Cameron and Quinn's competing values model, 1999). In this way, while promoting the relevant professional competences within the degree in psychology, the development of intercultural competences will be encouraged following the model developed by EMIC (Erasmus Intercultural Competence, 2015). Likewise, these activities aim to stimulate reflection on how professionals in Organizational Psychology can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The teaching team has a considerable history of joint collaboration, and teaches subjects in the field of Organizational and Work Psychology, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as in different faculties of the University of Valencia. It is therefore to be expected that the activities carried out and the experience acquired will have a significant impact not only at the level of teacher coordination, but also in terms of the students who will benefit.
