Next September, the 1st International Congress on Research in Secondary Education will be held, contributing as a novelty the defense of the transdisciplinarity of specific didactics in numerous aspects and problems that need to be debated, with the intention of reaching interesting conclusions regarding educational research, uniting efforts between secondary and university teachers.
This academic gathering is designed to engage educators who, from their practical experience, wish to analyse the current situation and develop future proposals in the field of research, always keeping in mind the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From a transdisciplinary perspective, we analyse the new educational and creative uses of the social, cultural, and formative trends that converge in secondary school, from the perspective of critical pedagogy, considering all teaching methodologies and different areas of knowledge.
This conference consolidates the work that the CREARI research group (GIUV2013-103) has been carrying out in recent years, addressing aspects related to teacher training, creativity, heritage, and educational innovation from a pedagogical perspective. Due to our tradition in educational research, as well as our involvement in teacher training, and our decades-long interest in issues related to innovation and interdisciplinar, the CREARI group at the University of Valencia takes on this new academic challenge, which requires careful and sound research into what is happening and what we want to improve in relation to secondary school research, considering its pedagogical extensions.
