We are celebrating! Last Wednesday 17th April, our colleague Estefanía Almenar, from the MODeLiC group, defended her doctoral thesis entitled "Synthesis and evaluation of optical chemosensors for the detection of peroxides and other biologically active species". The thesis was supervised by Prof. Pablo Gaviña, Principal Investigator of the MODeLiC group, and Prof. Margarita Parra, deputy director of the IDM.

Their defence was evaluated by the prestigious tribunal formed by Prof. Beatriu Escuder, from the Universitat Jaume I; Prof. Mª José Bañuls, from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia; and Dr. José A. Sáez, from the Universitat de Valencia.
