On February 12, Yulieth Banguera Ordóñez, researcher at IDM, successfully defended her doctoral thesis at the ETSIAMN Graduation Hall, part of the Universitat Politècnica de València, obtaining the highest distinction.
The thesis, entitled “Integrated analytical strategies to enhance the sensitivity of lateral flow immunoassays in point-of-care clinical settings,” was supervised by Dr. Amadeo Sena, Dr. Sergi Morais, and Dr. Ángel Maquieira.
The presented work focuses on the development of new analytical strategies aimed at improving the sensitivity of lateral flow immunoassays, key tools for rapid diagnosis in point-of-care clinical environments, thereby contributing to advances in biosensing and immediate diagnostic technologies.
Congratulations, Dr. Banguera!
