Last February 28th, we had the pleasure to celebrate the first co-creation workshop at INCLIVA, in the Training Room, with a fascinating topic: "Cutting-edge diagnostics: molecular recognition technologies applied in biomedicine"

It was an enriching day where both researchers and heads of the groups that make up the IDM met to share their knowledge and explore new synergies.

During the first part of the workshop, both researchers and clinicians shared their technologies and discussed existing limitations, with the aim of identifying areas of synergy and collaborative potential.

We highlight the brilliant communications of Prof. Ramón Martínez Máñez, director of IDM and principal investigator of the NANOSENS group, who presented "Smart materials and molecular probes for biomarker detection as an aid to diagnosis".

We also enjoyed the participation of Dr. Luis A. Tortajada, professor at the UPV and IDM researcher, who shared the most innovative advances of his group in his communication entitled "Innovative technologies for the detection of SNPs and mutations".

And finally, Dr. Mª. Carmen Martínez Bisbal, professor at the UV and researcher at the IDM, presented "Biomedical applications of nuclear magnetic resonance: metabolomics and imaging", where she shared both her latest results and the possible services offered by her research.

This workshop was made possible thanks to the impulse of the Research and Talent Committee, and the IDM's R&D&I Activities Management and Transfer Unit, in collaboration with the Support Unit.

Thanks to all participants for making this day such an enriching space for learning and collaboration!
