Researchers from the SYM Group of the Institute of Molecular Recognition and Technological Development (IDM_UPV_UV) are participating in the CLARA project, a strategic cooperative initiative that integrates advanced detection and treatment technologies in reclaimed water and healthcare environments. Its main goal is to ensure microbiological safety, protect public health, and meet sustainability and climate-change resilience objectives, as well as to develop an AI- and machine learning (ML)-based predictive model enabling early warning of disasters or serious public health threats.

The project is carried out in collaboration with four other strategic partners:

1️⃣ Aguas de Alicante

2️⃣ La Fe Health Research Institute | IIS La Fe

3️⃣ Crespo Printing Group

4️⃣ NUNSYS Group

Researchers from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) have received €225,030.00 in funding from the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness and Innovation (IVACE +i, Generalitat Valenciana), through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme of the Valencian Community 2021–2027 (INNEST/2025/76).

Through this initiative, IDM strengthens its commitment to technological innovation, health security, and sustainability, fostering cooperation between science, industry, and society.
