The system developed by IDM-UPV research staff is now ready for tclinical trials, which will be carried out in collaboration with IIS La Fe.

The group of Professor Ramón Martínez Máñez, researcher at the IDM Institute of the UPV has worked on an alternative diagnosis test for COVID-19 based on nanoporous films. These materials are able to store an indicator that is released only in the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus thanks to a molecular gate system. And they do it very quickly, reliably and easily.
