Núria Falcó Moreno holds a degree in Physics, a master’s degree in History of Science and Scientific Communication, and is a PhD student under an FPI fellowship in the Doctoral Program in Historical and Social Studies on Science, Medicine, and Scientific Communication at the University of Valencia. She is also a trainee researcher at the Research Institute on Social Welfare Policy (POLIBIENESTAR). For three years (2022–2025), she was employed by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) to work in the science communication and outreach team at the Institute of Corpuscular Physics (IFIC, CSIC-UV). At the same time, she was responsible for science outreach at the National Center for Particle, Astroparticle, and Nuclear Physics (CPAN), a strategic network of the Spanish Research Agency that brings together the Spanish research community in these fields and is managed from IFIC. During this same period, she was the Spanish contact in the European Particle Physics Communication Network (EPPCN), a European committee led by CERN that aims to define common strategies for scientific communication on particle physics across Europe. Her research focuses on the public perception of science and disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, within the framework of the National Project CONFIDES. |

Biography | ||
Frida Luis Maqueira holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication (Extraordinary Award 2022) and a master's degree in Gender and Equality Policies (Extraordinary Award 2024) from the Universitat de València. She has been a collaboration grant holder with the project 'Femme Exotique: Mujer, racialización y erotismo', which is framed within the research lines of the 'Interculturalidad y Comunicación' group (InterCom) and the R+D+i research project 'Representaciones de género en el cine español del siglo XXI. Imaginario fílmico y discursos sociales', directed by Silvia Guillamón Carrasco. She is currently a Research Staff in Training (PIF) with a FPU's predoctoral contract at the Universitat de València, where she is working on her doctoral thesis on the representation of Cubanity in contemporary Spanish cinema. Her lines of research focus on film analysis, semiotics, decolonial feminisms and cultural studies. |

Biography | ||
Graduate in Journalism from the Univeristy of Valencia (2021, Extraordinary Prize) and Master in Media, Communication and Culture from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She started doing research at the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences (UV) through a collaboration grant from the Spanish Ministry. Currently, she is researching on communication, youth and digital culture thanks to a FPU grant, also from the Ministry, and with co-direction between the University of Valencia and the University of Barcelona. She has previously worked in political and cultural communication. She has been in charge of literary festivals, has managed the networks of the music band La Fúmiga, has participated in TV programmes on À Punt and 3cat and has been a columnist in different newspapers. She also manages different projects herself in the digital space, such as the booktube channel laprestatgeria (on Youtube since 2017) and the podcast GenZ deparkineo. She is the author of El senyal (Bromera, 2019). |

Biography | ||
Alejandro Morala Girón (Valencia, 1999) has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a master's degree in New Journalism from the University of Valencia. Currently, he is researcher at the same university, where he is preparing a doctoral thesis and imparting class. She is participating in the project “Gender technologies in Spanish audiovisual culture of the new millennium” (PID2022-138974NA-I00), financed by the MICIN, the AEI and the ERDF. His lines of research focus on film analysis, semiotics and cultural studies. He is the author of various articles published in scientific journals such as Área Abierta or EU-topías. |
