Training objectives

The course is designed to develop the necessary competencies to deliver interactive classes within the classroom using electronic devices such as smartphones, using Wooclap platform (integrated in Moodle). The course will also review other alternatives inside or outside Moodle.

Contents
  1. Session 1:
  • Group work to apply what has been learnt: creation and development of a Wooclap event in the classroom
  • Advanced configuration of Wooclap and modalities of use of the platform.
  • Data collection for continuous evaluation and Wooclap integration with Moodle
  • Sharing events and teamwork with Wooclap
  • Session 2:
  • Analysis of the usefulness of interactive teaching.
  • Comparison between available platforms in the field of interactive teaching
  • Introduction of Wooclap and its basic operation
  • Integration of Wooclap with powerpoint presentations

 

Competencies to be developed
  • Create presentations with real-time feedback using platforms for polling, and specifically, mastering the use of Wooclap as a tool integrated in the virtual classroom (Moodle).
  • Increase student motivation in face-to-face classes.
  • Incorporate ICTs in higher education
  • Use of automatic evaluation tools to make a quick continuous evaluation.

 

Criteria and procedure for evaluation of the activity

A Wooclap activity will be required in the virtual classroom as a result of the teamwork carried out in the second session.
