Professional profile of the recipients
UV teaching staff. Preferably aimed at teachers of any non-philological area who are
already teaching or can teach in English at the UV. A minimum level of English of B2 is
required.
Priority will be given to teachers who have taken the SFPIE course "English as a Medium
of Instruction (EMI): Active Methodologies applied to teaching in English"

Competencies to be developed
Ability to create original materials to work on the contents of the subject. Ability to select audiovisual material that is related to the subject and develop activities.
Dynamize the class by alternating the use of different methodologies and allowing the participation of students in a more active way.
Criteria and procedure for evaluation of the activity
Attendance and active participation in the classroom. Prepare at least one activity that is explained in the course applied to a specific subject and topic taught by the teacher and presentation in the classroom to the rest of the classmates, during the second session.
