In the subject New Strategic Administration Approaches the necessary knowledge for defining the strategic options to be used by the company within the Strategic Administration framework are offered. In order to do so, the different factors that influence the strategic administration and, specifically, corporate strategies and decisions, will be analysed, with a socio-political and regulatory perspective, focusing on the debate on the sense of economic activities and the role belonging to the companies related to the current social progress and development, paying special attention to the European Union’s institutional and values framework for strategies formulation. As key factors for business development, intangible resources based on the knowledge, the information and the communication stand out, focusing in the problems that affect to the confidence, the image and the legitimacy of the companies. Finally, the models or integrated management systems and the new centrality acquired for the formulation of corporate strategies the Factors ESG- Environmental, Social and Governance- are studied. The theoretical contents are complemented with the analysis of cases.

In the subject Ethics and Social Responsibility of the Company the students are provided with the necessary concepts for the development of business models and business management approaches under the eyes of ethics and responsibility, included in the different aspects of the international public debate about sustainable development and the axiological debate of both categories. The problems affecting the transparency and the public accountability by the companies, the good governance and the advances in the different dimensions of responsibility are studied. Finally, the most advanced cases of management system development based on the culture of responsibility are analysed.
