Seminar Dr. Magi Farré

"On 17 December took place the seminar taught by professor Dr Magi Farré. He explained the problems that suppose the research of the effect of the drugs by using people, a research he has developed for several years with the research group he directs. He also presented the results of his works in which mephedrone has been used, which is an emerging synthetic drug" Dr Farré is Head of the Service at the Service of Clinical Pharmacology Service of University Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (HUGTiP) and the and Full-University professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

On 29 May, in the Sixth Scientific Sessions, Dr Fernando Cadaveira, taught this conference. He pointed out the problems caused by intensive consumption of alcohol in young people and adolescents. He stood out that the brain damage associated with this consumption “represents the missed opportunity to be the adult they could have become”.
