The 4th International Congress and National Conference of the scientific society Socidrogalcohol, now in its 49th edition, was held in Tenerife from 6 to 8 October.
The students of the master’s Degree in Research, Treatment and Associated Pathologies in Drug Addictions of the Universitat de València, together with some of the teaching staff, attended to the 4th International Congress – XLIX Jornades Nacionals de Socidrogalcohol – VIII Congrés Nacional Patologia Bio-Psicosocial, that this year was held in Tenerife.
The aim of this meeting was the creation of a discussion and reflection forum. There, health professionals were able to update and study in more detail the addictive behaviour field from an interdisciplinary point of view.
Apart from talks and communications, on Friday 7 October the poster exhibition was held. In it participated the current and graduate student body, and the teaching staff of the master’s degree in Research, Treatment and Associated Pathologies in Drug Addictions. The
Conference jury selected a total of 13 clinical cases in poster format from the UV, which were displayed on digital screens that were set up for this purpose in the commercial exhibition area of the central office. Among all the posters exhibited, Marina Reguilón was awarded the prize for the best poster.
This event is organised annually by the scientific society Socidrogalcohol. The purpose of this organization is to encourage and facilitate relationships between scientists involved in the study, research, training, prevention and treatment of alcohol, alcoholism, drug dependence and other addictions.
