For the development of work placements, students should choose between the available options depending on their preferences, up to a maximum of three posts. Once the selection has been done, the tutors will assign the places depending on students’ preferences and academic record.
There is the possibility that students propose the work placement to the academic tutor. And he will decide if the tasks to be done are related to the field of Environmental Engineering and allow the student to achieve the competencies and goals of work placements. If so, the work placement will be approved.
Once the work placement is assigned, students should contact to the tutor of the company in order to arrange start and finish dates, to specify the tasks, timetables…With these information students should contact to the administrative services of the Work Placements Unit of the Higher Technical School of Civil Channels and Ports Engineering for completing the administrative procedures. The process must be completed 15 days before the start of the work placements.
