The workshop will be held on May 12th, from 16 h to 19 h. It will take place in the classroom OB7 of the West Classrooms of the Tarongers Campus.

Managing people in organisations involves collecting and analysing data that needs to be properly processed to improve the quality of decisions. This workshop will look at different examples of the use of Excel in some of the most common functions in an HR department. It is recommended to attend with a laptop (with Excel installed) in order to make the most of the session.

The workshop will be given by Professor Fernando J. Pons Verdú, an expert in the field of people management in organisations, who combines teaching with research. Since 2003, Fernando J. Pons has been a lecturer in the Department of Social Psychology at the Universitat de València where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.  Throughout his career he has held various positions in internal HR management and leadership. HR in companies in the financial, industrial and retail sectors. He has also managed and participated in numerous PR consultancy projects. HR and management in companies of multiple sectors and sizes. He has published several books on innovation and people management in business and various research and opinion articles.
