Within the framework of the Master’s Degree in Law, Business and Justice at the University of Valencia, and specifically designed for students of the course “Workshop on Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration Techniques”, taught by the highly renowned Dr Silvia Barona Vilar, a world-leading authority in the field, the International Conference “Integration of ADR into the Justice System: progress and pending challenges” was held on 21 January 2026.
The conference featured outstanding national and international speakers who presented an international perspective, discussed certain “special” ADR mechanisms, addressed issues arising from the approval of Organic Law 1/2025, and examined the work being carried out by Spain’s autonomous communities regarding public ADR services. An excellent panel of participants that enabled constructive dialogue around ADR… which, after all, have existed for a very long time!
