On Friday 10 November 2023, the opening ceremony of the Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety of the Universitat de València was held.

The ceremony was supported by the Valencian Institute for Safety and Health at Work (INVASSAT), the Official College of Higher Technicians in Occupational Risk Prevention of the Valencian Community (COTSPRLCV), the External Prevention Service VITALY and the Valencian company Power Electronics.

The event was opened by Mr. Manuel Alegre Nueno, Director of the Master’s Degree. Then, Mr. Juan Carlos Castellanos Alba, Head of the INVASSAT Assistance and Promotion Service; Mr. Víctor Iranzo Borrás, Health and Safety Director of the Power Electronics Group; and Ms. Mª Dolores Maeso Garcia , PRL Technician of Valora Prevención and former student of the Master’s Degree, spoke about aspects related to Health and Safety at work from their different work prisms. To conclude, Mr. Francisco José Cárcel Valero, President of the COTSPRLCV, discussed some important aspects in the current professional development of Occupational Risk Prevention technicians.
