Biography
 

Salvador Alberola holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia (2007) and a PhD in Social and Health Care for Dependent Persons from the University of Valencia (2016). He currently works as an associate professor in the Department of Evolutionary and Educational Psychology. He has been a collaborator with the Research Group on Advanced Research Methods Applied to the Promotion of Quality of Life (ARMAQoL) since 2023 and with the Research Group on Emotional Bonds (VINCULA) since 2024. His areas of research are, on the one hand, Active and Successful Aging, where he has collaborated on three research projects to improve the quality of life of older people. His second line of research is Academic Engagement.

Biography
 

Diana Burychka obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia (UV) in 2016. She is awarded the Research Collaboration grant with the Department of Social Psychology (2015) and at this same university she obtained the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology (2018). Subsequently, she complements her studies with the Specialization Master in Integrative Cognitive Psychotherapy of the AIGLÉ Foundation (2022).
In July 2023, she earned her PhD in Psychology with the qualification of Excellent Cum Laude and International Mention with the thesis “Towards positive body image: the protective role of body compassion against body shame and the risk of eating disorders" under the direction of Dr. Rosa Baños and Dr. Marta Miragall.
She is a member of the research group I-PSI-TEC since 2017 and, to date, she has participated as a researcher in research projects funded by national institutions and the European Union.
Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher in the European project RECONNECTED (no. 101081020). Her research focuses on developing digital intervention tools that address mental health literacy, social participation and resilience.
Her main line of research focuses on body image and the use of virtual reality in clinical psychology, especially, the assessment and treatment of body image disturbances associated with eating disorders and the promotion of positive body image.

Desire Colombo earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Bergamo, Italy, and a Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience from San Raffaele University, Milan. In 2017, she was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN Fellowship at Jaume I University, where she focused on mobile apps to enhance well-being. Between 2018 and 2019, she participated in two secondments at Philips Research (Netherlands), contributing to cutting-edge research in technology and mental health. She completed her PhD in 2020, earning international recognition, including the Extraordinary PhD Award and the Best PhD Award from the Spanish Society of Positive Psychology. In 2022, she was awarded a Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellowship at Valencia University, continuing her research on mobile apps for emotion regulation. Following this, she received the Margarita Sala Postdoctoral Fellowship, which included one year of research at Vrije University (Amsterdam) and one year at Jaume I University (Spain), focusing on emotion regulation deficits in depression. Currently, she is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at Valencia University, where she is part of the IMPULSA project (CIPROM/2021/041). Her work explores the use of Information and Communication Technologies to investigate emotion regulation and well-being, with a particular focus on positive emotions and cognitive processes in daily life.

PhD in Psychology Research and a Master's degree in General Health Psychology. Since its creation in 2009, she has worked primarily as a neuropsychologist within the G24 research group of the Center for Biomedical Research in Mental Health (CIBERSAM), led by Dr. Rafael Tabarés-Seisdedos. This group, part of the Autonomy, Dependency, and Severe Mental Disorders Assessment Unit (TMAP) at the University of Valencia, is also a member of the INCLIVA Health Research Institute at the University Clinical Hospital of Valencia, participating as one of the Research Excellence groups in the PROMETEO program of the Generalitat de Valencia (Generalitat of Valencia). She participates as a researcher in important projects in the areas of mental health and human cognition and has published numerous articles in high-impact international scientific journals that are widely cited. Her main lines of research are neurocognition, psychosocial functioning, frailty, cognitive endophenotypes of people with serious mental disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and transdiagnostic studies and their biomarkers with other diseases whose symptoms present with cognitive impairment. Since beginning her professional career in 1987, in addition to practicing as a psychotherapist, she has dedicated herself to university teaching, serving as an associate professor at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Valencia since 2007. This role allows her, among other activities, to supervise theses, master's and undergraduate theses, and teach various subjects related to human development, psychological intervention, and psychopedagogy.

Biography
 

Laura Lacomba-Trejo is a PhD Assistant Professor at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Valencia. She has a Graduate Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in General Health Psychology and a Doctor in Research in Psychology from the Universitat de València. Added to the above, she has an Expert in Accompaniment and intervention in grieving processes and a University Expert of Specialization in methodology of adult education, both from the Miguel de Cervantes European University.

Her research and clinical practice have focused on health psychology throughout the life cycle, especially the importance of family and emotional ties for physical and emotional adjustment. Her interests are in the child and adolescent population, family, adverse childhood, grief, suicide prevention and attachment. She has participated in multiple national and international research projects, currently having more than 90 published articles, more than 40 contributions in the form of a book or book chapter and more than 180 contributions at national or international conferences. As a result of the above, he has received several awards for the scientific-technical quality of his contributions, including the Entrepreneurial Psychologists Award: Young Researchers category awarded by the General Council of Psychology of Spain and the Spanish Foundation for the Promotion and Scientific Development Psychology Professional.

Dr. Santiago Mengual Andrés is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Director of the Comparative Education and History of Education Department of the School of Philosophy and Education, University of Valencia, Spain. He has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Ph.D. from the University of Alicante, Spain. He was A Vicedean of Research, Innovation and Quality of of the School of Philosophy and Education, University of Valencia. He was the Academic Secretary of Valencian Community delegation of AIDIPE (Interuniversity Association for Educational Research). He was a consultant of the Master in E-Learning (UOC). Since 2003 he has taught several graduate national and international courses. He has also participated as a teacher, coordinator or director in over 30 seminars, workshops and training courses in Educational Technology and Research Methods in Education. His research areas are mainly focused on the role of ICT in Education with more than 95 contributions (articles, book chapters, books, proceedings, etc.). He is currently the Executive Editor of the Journal of New Approaches in Educational Research and reviewer of several scientific journals indexed in JCR and Scopus. In the past 10 years he has served as a Research Fellow in 30 R & D projects financed by public funds and 3 contracts of public-private research, all closely related to Educational Technology and Scientific Publishing

PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Valencia. I currently work in the Department of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education at the same university, where I teach in various undergraduate programs (e.g., Pedagogy, Social Education, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences), Master's programs (e.g., Psychopedagogy), and Doctoral programs (e.g., PhD Program in Education). Previously, I have been affiliated with other institutions such as the National University of Distance Education (UNED) and the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), both in Spain.

My most recent research interests focus on methodological specialization in the assessment of reporting quality in evaluative studies of complex interventions. I also develop several lines of research focused on the analysis of the quality and inclusion of primary studies, the appraisal of reporting and evidence quality, as well as the evaluation of risk of bias in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The ultimate goal is to promote transparency and replicability in research as essential criteria for the cumulative advancement of scientific knowledge.

My research trajectory has involved participation in competitive projects at both national and international levels, publication in high-impact scientific journals and prestigious academic publishers, as well as the dissemination of results at specialized national and international conferences. In pursuit of further specialization in methodology and statistical analysis, I am an active member of the Spanish Association of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences (AEMCCO) and the European Association of Methodology (EAM). My methodological profile has allowed me to contribute to studies on a wide range of topics (e.g., Learning Analytics, Chemsex, Slamsex, Sexting, Burnout, Child-to-parent violence, among others).

Assistant Professor of the Department of Comparative Education and History of Education of the University of Valencia. PhD in Education (2020) from the University of Valencia. Research Staff in Training of the Department of Comparative Education and History of the University of Valencia, Spain (2015-2019). FPU Scholar from the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Government of Spain. Member of the Ágora Comparative and International Education Research Group (GREECE) of the University of Valencia and of the Innovation, Methodology and ICT Research Group (INMETIC) (UCV). Coordinator of the AUECPE Innovation Project of the University of Valencia for the introduction of methodologies and digital resources that promote blended learning and flipped teaching in the classroom. She is part of the Evaluation Committee of the Revista Iberoamericana de Docentes, an evaluator in various international magazines and in international seminars and national congresses. She was a Visiting Research Scholar at the Institute of Education of the University College of London during the 2016/2017 academic year.
The lines of research that she carries out are: privatization of education in developed and developing countries and the impact of COVID-19 on the right to education from a comparative and international perspective.
