This workshop is led by expert instructors from the Astronomical Observatory of the UV and Big History de Aras de los Olmos of the Cosmofísica de Titaguas  of AstrARAS and it has as an objective fostering scientific and technological skills, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, gender empowerment, and the inclusion of people with disabilities, all in support of sustainability and rural communities in mountainous areas at risk of depopulation. 

This is an in-person training program structured into three sessions: the first, on Friday May 22, featuring an introduction to the course, a lecture, and a nighttime observation at the Big History Center; the second, on Saturday, May 23 in the morning, featuring a lecture and a workshop; and the third, featuring a lecture and a workshop in the afternoon, which will conclude with a roundtable discussion, followed by a nighttime observation at La Cambra.

This project is coordinated by Amelia Ortiz of the UV Astronomical Observatory and co-funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities.
