As a botanist, he revolutionized the world of Valencian botany, both from the point of view of teaching and from the research. Specialist in Mediterranean vegetation, biogeography and bioclimatology, you can find a great number of works on vegetation that are not only limited to the Valencian territory, but also anywhere in the world, as a result of the expeditions and botanical campaigns it carries out.
The vegetation of the Valencian lands, phytosociology and biodiversity have been their fields of work, contributing to the Valencian botany a good number of books, articles, appointments, presentations, etc., which are an invaluable legacy for our culture . As a result of its rigorous activity, the "Vegetation in the Valencia Country" was born, a scientific divulge book, which is one of the best trials in spreading botany.
