It is the body which advises the Principal and the Governing Council on academic matters.
In accordance with the University Statutes (Article 109), it is made up of the Principal, who presides, the General Secretary and 40 members appointed by the Governing Council including prestigious teaching and research staff who have received a minimum of four merit awards from the research evaluation system established by law.
