The tennis team at the UV, as Spain University runner-up in 2011 and 2012, participated in the European University Games organised by the University of Cordoba in July 2012. The women’s team obtained the sixth place with players like Ainhoa Zamora, Carola Gonzalez-King and Sonsoles Verdejo, the men’s team got fifth place with players like Pablo Montoro, Javi Peris, Alvaro Cajigal and Arturo Torregrosa.
Additionally the UV tennis player Pablo Montoro, was selected to participate with the Spanish university team in the Summer University 2011 in Shenzhen, China, and won the bronze in men’s double.
In 2009 and 2010, the UV won the Spain University Championship, reason why they participated in the European University Championship.
Additionally the UV tennis player Mati Muñoz, was selected to participate with the Spanish university team in the Summer University 2011 in Belgrade.

Spanish University Championship (CEU)
The UV participates in the Spanish University Championships (CEU). To join the UV’s tennis team you shall have a relevant natioanl ranking and participate in the internal competition which is organised from October to December.
The CEU is organised for both team sports and individual sports.
In 2012, the Spanish University Tennis Championship is organised by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, from 15 to 18 April, and the UV team were Spain runner-ups, with two golds and three bronzes.
En 2013 no se Organised by CEU de Tennis.
In 2014 it was organised by the Universidad Miguel Hernández, from 13 to 16 May, and the UV got third place with 1 silver and 3 bronzes.
