After the cancellation of the edition of 2024 because of the DANA, the Universitat de València holds again the run "Run Without Resistance", an initiative that combines sport and awareness about the appropriate use of antibiotics.

With a 5 km race and non-competitive nature, this activity is open to people from all ages and takes part of the Plan Nacional de Resistencia a los Antibióticos (PRAN, the National Plan of Antibiotic Resistance). The activity aims to encourage healthy habits and raise public awareness about one of the most important challenges for global public health.
Registration is free and can be made through the web portal www.megustacorrer.com until 19 November at 2pm. The run will take place Sunday 23 November, at 9am, starting and finishing in Calle Hernán Cortés in Burjassot, in front of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences.
The collection of numbers will take place in the next locations and timetables:
- Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, at Blasco Ibáñez Campus (Avda. Blasco Ibáñez, 15), Thursday 20 November, from 10.00am to 2:00pm and from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
- Faculty of Pharmacy, Burjassot Campus (C/ Hernán Cortés 15), Thursday 20 November, from 10.00am to 2:00pm and from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
- It will also be possible to collect them the day of the marathon, on Sunday, 23 November, in the Faculty of Pharmacy hall, between 8am and 8:30am.
"Run Without Resistance" is not only a sporting event, but also an event for awareness and commitment to public health. The Universitat de València encourages the university community and citizens to participate in order to move together towards a responsible antibiotic use.
