
Last 22 March, the University Spanish Championship of Cross Country 2025 reunited many universities from the country in the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus (Madrid). The competition had place in the Urbanización El Bosque, with the exit from the athletics of the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
In a high level sports event, the teams of the Universitat de València showed their excellence in discipline. The female team specially stood out, and proclaimed themselves champions of Spain in the Cross Country category, reaffirming the implication of the UV with high performance sport.
To an individual level, Andrea Romero named herself champion in the female category, completing with great solvency the 7.000 metres of the trial and adding a new success to her sports trajectory.
On their part, the male team of the Universitat de València also competed with effort and determination, achieving a commendable 11th position in the general classification after completing the route of 8.000 metres.
These results reflect the great work and dedication of the sports people and the technical team of the Universitat de València, that continues betting for the promotion of university sport and the development of talent of the students.
