Unbeaten to the finals on 8 March. That is how the Universitat de València will be presented with its feminine football-7, masculine rugby and feminine rugby-7 teams. The third and last autonomic day, competed in Castelló yesterday, settled with a strike for the UV, which did not find a rival in any of the three disciplines.

In feminine football-7, The Universitat de València faced against the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) of Castelló, leaving the marker with an outright 0-2; and then they won against the University of Alicante (UA) with a score of 4-2.

The feminine rugby team also did it well against the UJI (44-0), the UA (41-0) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) (5-17), as expected from the technical team of the UV.

The masculine team of rugby won with a baggy punctuation against the four rival universities: 10-7 against the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, 41-0 against the UJI, 0-37 against Valencia Catholic University and 34-12 against the UPV.

The Universitat de València will be the host of the autonomic finals the next 8 March, where the concentrating teams (football-7 and rugby) and those of the regular league (basketball, indoor football, handball and volleyball) will compete at CADU which will give them the green light to play at the University Championship of Spain.
