Funki, salsa, ballet... and up to ten dances were exhibited on the stage of the Tívoli Cultural Centre of Burjassot, which last Thursday 11 May, at 19:30 pm, hosted the 9th edition of the UVesport dance festival.
Around a hundred students of the activities offered by UVesports showed what they have learnt during the 2022/2023 academic year in this massive exhibition, which is free of charge to the public.
The dancers, who have been taking classes since the UVesports activities started in September, prepared their performances thoroughly under the guidance of the teachers and delighted the audience at the festival.
The dance festival, organised by the UVesports activities coordinator, Amparo Llópez, and her technical team, has reached its 9th edition this year. This traditional fun-festive day served to promote dance and enjoy classical and contemporary dances, as well as new fusions such as balletfiness.
On this occasion, ten artistic disciplines were presented on stage: funki, salsa, bachata, tribal fusion, hip hop, classical dance, contemporary dance, bollywood, balletfitness and jazz dance.
