UV athletes keep bagging medals on all disciplines.

On Tuesday, 27 a badminton competition was held at the facilities of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, where the UV team won 2 golds and 3 bronzes, as well as the teams bronze.

On Wednesday, the Cardenal Herrera University held a swimming competition in which the UV swimmers took a total of 24 medals on a variety of categories. Of them, 7 were golds, 11 were silvers and six were bronzes, as well as the teams silver.

Lastly, also on Wednesday, 28 February, the chess tournament of the Autonomous University Sports Championship (CADU) was held at the Universitat Jaume I. It was a thrilling competition given the high level of the contenders. The UV took silver and bronze on the men’s category, as well as gold on the teams category.
