The squash team of the Universitat de València won three golden medals in the squash Regional University Sports Championship celebrated last Tuesday, 22 March, in the facilities of the Sports Team TUTEMPO K7.

The team coached by Carlos Navarro won in the man’s and women’s categories thanks to the good performances of Víctor Reguera and Marina de Juan, who won in their respective finals. Furthermore, with these results, the Universitat de València climbed the podium in the regional championship by teams, ahead of the Universitat Politècnica de València, which was in the second place and of the Cardenal Herrera University - CEU, which won the bronze medal.

Victor Reguera said after the final that he felt “very happy, at the beginning I failed a little, but I recovered and got to win. This is the first time that I participate in this competition and I am actually very happy, there were many participants and a good atmosphere”.

Marina de Juan agreed with Reguera and said that “there were many more participants than in previous editions. I am very pleased to have won another title for the Universitat de València”.
