Universitat de València brings four new medals from the Autonomous University Sports Championship (CADU). Two bronze medals in the orienteering competition in Titaguas and one gold medal and one silver in the climbing competition held in Valencia.

On March 5 took place the Autonomous Univetsity Sports Championship, organized by the Univesitat de València. The competition took place in a mountainous area of Titaguas, situated in the South of Javalambre, characteristic for its rugged topography, with a lot of relief and a great diversity of terrain.The competition brought together athletes from different universities from Valencian Community and show their high technical and physical level. In addition, the natural environment demanded a great capacity for orientation and strategy from the participants.

In the individual women's classification, Paula Puche Herrero won the bronze medal after an amazing performance on the race. Furthermore, the UV team also reached the podium in the team classification, where they also obtained third place.

With these results, The Universitat de València adds two new medals into the regional university circuit and reinforces its presence in the CADU competitions in a discipline that combine resilience strategy and knowledge of the territory. 

Gold in climbing 

On March 6, was held the CADU climbing competition, organized by Catholic University of Valencia in the Natural Climb Valencia Center, located in the Patraix neighbourhood. The Universitat de València continued with the good competitive rythm this week of the championship. In the Men´s classification, Marcos Estopiña won a gold medal, while in the university´s classification the UV got silver one.
