
On Saturday March 14, the Palacio de los Deportes in Elche hosted the Autonomous University Sports Championship (CADU) of karate, which brought together athletes from all over the Valencian Community in kata and kumite.
The Universitat de València completed an excellent performance, with a total of 17 medals: seven gold, four silver, six bronze. Thanks to those results, the UV took first place in the general classification by universities and was proclaimed autonomous champion of the tournament.

This success highlights the talent, dedication and effort of our student body. With this performance, the UV strengthens its leadership in university sport of the Valencian Community, combining academic excellence with high athletic performance.
