The UV organises the fencing and ping pong competitions of the Autonomic University Sport Championship

On next week starts the autonomic university championship in individual sports and it is organised in a new meeting of the CADE league in the team sports modality. The first individual CADU to be fight over will be ping pong and fencing, on 8th and 9th February.

After the exams session and with the start of the second quarter, students take up the university competition. The first competitions to be fought over will be the individual CADU.

On Wednesday 8th February, the UV ping pong team plays at home, they will confront the rest of autonomic universities in the sport facilities of the Universitat de València located in the Blasco Ibáñez Campus. The competition will start at 10:00 hours.

On Thursday 9th February, the fencing autonomic championship will also take place in the UV, in the Sala de Armas of the Menéndez y Pelayo sports hall. Male epee will start at 10:00 hours. Then, at 11:00 hours, will take place female epee. Foil will start at 12:30 hours and finally, sabre will take place at 13:30 hours.

4th day of the teams CADU league

The next appointment of the CADU league is on Thursday 9th February and will confront the Universitat de València teams with the ones of the Castellón UJI.

The UV teams will play at home in the football, indoor football and basket disciplines. And the championships of volleyball, handball, rugby, paddle tennis and tennis will take part in the facilities of the UJI.

After the great sensations obtained in the three previous meetings, the Universitat de València faces this new appointment with confidence and highly motivated, with the clear objective of continuing gaining points for the final in 8th March.

The CADU calendar will continue on 21st February, date in which the UV will confront the Politécnica de Valencia. Finally, on 8th March the grand final in the team sports modality of the Autonomic University Sport Championship of the Comunidad Valenciana will be fought over.
