For another year, the Red de Bacterias Lácticas (RedBAL) holds its yearly meeting, from the 17th to the 19th of June, in the Biological Research Centre of the CSIC (Madrid).
In this 13th Meeting, the meeting point of these researchers and experts in bacteria will be a forum in which they will share the latest advances in the field of study of this bacterian group. Dr. Rosa Aznar, expert in BAL and director of CECT, will present the latest milestones in the Spanish Microbial Resources Network (REDESMI), which is made up of several research collections of lactic bacteria.
On the other hand, Lidia Rodrigo, research technician at the CECT, will present a work of genomic reassortment of strains of the species Lactobacillus plantarum.
