
38th Yearly Meeting of the European Culture Collections' Organisation (ECCO) is held from the 12th to the 14th of June in Turin (Italy) with the slogan “Microorganisms as tools to win the current societal challenges and support European strategies in bioeconomy”.
This year's hosts are the Università di Torino, along with the Mycotheca Universitatis Taurinensis (MUT) and the Culture Collections of the Università di Torino (TUCC). Representatives of the the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT) will also attend the meeting, such as Rosa Aznar (director), Aurora Zuzuarregui (manager of microbial resources and responsible for quality) and José Miguel López (responsible for patents and information technology).
