The intervention of Sr. Alfredo Calot, which will tackle the theme 'El Tribunal de Justicia de la UE y el proceso de integración jurídica europea' (The Court of Justice of the European Union and the European legal integration process). It is the opening of the On-site session of the Law, Business and International Justice Official Master's Degree and Doctorate. A Master's Degree specifically designed for law professionals and which has been offered with great succes by our University.

Sr. D. Alfredo Calot Escobar, Court of Justice of the European Union secretary, the highest judicial body in the Union, and whose contribution has been and is decisive for the consolidation of the European legal system. Sr. Calot is a Licenciado in Law in the Faculty of our University (year 1984) and practices law as a the secretary of the Court of Justice since October 2010, when he was elected for a 6 year mandate by the 27 judges and the 8 general lawyers of the Court. Sr. Calot holds the honour of being the fifth secretary to have occupied the post in the 53 years of existence of the Court.
