The IV state meeting of the Red de Universidades Cultivadas is going to take place on the 14th, 15th, and 16th May 2026, in Valencia. The slogan is the following:

“Huertos Universitarios como lugar de encuentro y esperanza” (University gardens as a place of encounter and hope)

During three sessions, the meeting will gather people related with university gardens, agro-ecological projects, and academic communities committed to sustainability, with the aim of sharing experiences, methodologies, and knowledge, while continuing to strengthen farming work. 

The programme will combine:

Exchange and collective reflection spaces

Training workshops

Visits to local initiatives

Collaborative work dynamics

And of course, an indispensable moment for the informal side of the meeting: Valencian paella for everyone. 

The meeting will be celebrated in the Universitat de València, in the Faculty of Teacher Training and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
