Academic, scientific or professional interest: Technologies of Information and Communications (TIC) are not only an important sector of economic activity in itself, but they also are an essential prime in all the associated fields of knowledge in the European society. The TIC are clearly identified with the concept of innovation. In the last decade, the growth of productivity in Europe has been reduced mostly due to an insufficient use of the TIC. The general objective of this Master's Degree is to train professionals able to suitably carry out the profession of Telecommunications Engineer. This Master's Degree expects to provide a series of competences that greatly improves the innovation, development and technological transfer of society, specially in the Spanish and European society, through different institutions: technological companies, both companies established as SMEs, as well as science and technology parks. On its behalf, this Master's Degree will contribute to train Telecommunications engineers with capacity for the creation of new technology SMEs, and will develop synergies with Spanish and foreign technology companies.
