Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, attended the online conference on the deployment of MaaS in Spain, held on May 27, 2021.

Organized by ITS Spain, it is a Collaborating event of the Safe, Sustainable and Connected Mobility Strategy 2030 of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.

In the first session, information was provided on the state of deployment of Whim App, an application that unifies payments for all means of public transport in the city through a single channel: buses, trains, cabs, rental bikes and rental cars, among others.

The second session dealt with the current status of the deployment of MaaS in Spain by RENFE, EMT MADRID, IMBRIC and MEEP.
