The workshop sessions are activities that aim to reflect and research on themes related to the people’s view and value of Valencian landscapes. They also disseminate information about landscapes and civic participation. They are a tool to raise awareness, promote the values of sharing a landscape and discuss about the issue. It aims to improve our comprehension of the people’s idea of landscape: their mental map. Additionally, the elements that reduce the quality of the regional landscape are pointed out.

The workshop sessions can be:

• Workshop sessions in Secondary Schools: they get the concept of landscape closer to the young ones (sixth form). It is a key educative level to raise awareness, teach them and show them the importance of take part in landscape planning.
• Workshop sessions around the region: They aim to raise awareness on the importance of planning and landscape management to guarantee the population’s welfare and quality of life.
