At the meeting, the priorities of these two entities in their joint strategy were decided.
Following the signing of the collaboration agreement between the UV Youth Chair and the Valencian Youth Council on 28 December 2023, a face-to-face meeting was held this January to design and structure the actions within the framework of the agreement that both entities will carry out during the multi-year period 2024-2027.
The main lines of action, according to the purpose of the agreement and the agreements reached at the meeting, will be developed around three basic axes:
- The training of young people, either through the incorporation of members of the specialist team, the permanent commission or the Permanent Training Exchange of the CJCV, the Chair's own training actions; or through the collaboration of the Chair in the training actions proposed by the Valencian Youth Council in its Annual Training Plan.
- The elaboration of studies on the reality of young people, in any field where the Chair would act as a research entity in those topics that both entities considered important to address on the reality of young people.
- The participation and assistance to the activities of both entities, as far as possible, either at institutional level as well as participants and/or co-organisers.
Representing the Valencian Youth Council were Iñaki Ríos García, member of the permanent commission, and Miquel Cebolla Orquín, Participation Technician of the specialist team of the Valencian Youth Council.
On behalf of the team of the Youth Chair, the meeting was attended by its director, Paz Viguer, Jonatan Ruiz López, youth technician, and Pilar Blasco Climent, political scientist and participation education technician.
