On 19 January, the Youth Chair of the UV attended the presentation of the results of the project that analyses the processes of identity construction and perceptions of masculinity that took place in the Women’s Library of the Valencian Government.
The research, entitled “Youth Masculinities in the Valencian Community. Processes of identity construction and perceptions of masculinity”, was conducted by the Queen Sofia Centre on Adolescence and Youth of the Fad Youth Foundation through 402 surveys to young people aged between 15 and 29 living in the Valencian Community, financed by the IVAJ.
The event was opened by María Such Palomares, Director General of the Valencian Women's Institute; Jesús Martí Nadal, Director General of IVAJ; and Beatriz Martín Padura, Director General of the Fad Youth Foundation.
The main conclusions of the study were then presented by Anna Sanmartín, Deputy Director of the Queen Sofia Centre on Adolescence and Youth at Fad, and Stribor Kuric, Research Technician at the Queen Sofia Centre on Adolescence and Youth at Fad.
