The project consists of a public call to carry out international volunteering in the field of development cooperation. During 2023, 19 field technical assistance positions will be offered in Ecuador and Bolivia.
The event took place on 14 February, at 10:00 a.m., in the Press Room of the Tabacalera Municipal Citizen Service Building.
For the last 10 years, the “Municipal Volunteer Specialist” project has been publishing calls for technical experts and residents of the Valencian Fund's partner local councils and associations of municipalities in the Valencian Community to carry out technical work in the field.
The general objectives of the programme are to create an awareness of solidarity and cooperation among the volunteers who participate and to provide specialised technical assistance to municipalities and organisations in Southern countries. In addition, the project aims to promote the creation of spaces for participation, exchange and knowledge transfer between towns in the Valencian Community and counterparts in the South.
