The Youth Chair starts a new line of action called 'Reconstruction', oriented to provide tools and resources to aid young people in difficult situations and recovery processes after moments of crisis.
From this initiative, an informative session took place where around 30 youth professionals delved in intervention strategies to support young people affected by the emergency situation resulting of last october's dana.
The workshop, carried out by Beatriz Miralles and Diana Paricio, professionals with experience in aid and emotional support for young people shared practical tools to understand the emotional and social impact of this event and encourage resilience among young people.
During the session, experiences were shared, young people's needs when facing difficult situations were reflected upon and support strategies to help them face these challenges with more ressources and safety were explored.
From the Youth Chair we would like to acknowledge all the people who participated in this training and contributed to make of this space a meeting point for learning. This is only the first activity of Reconstruction, a work line which will keep providing initiatives to support young people in their recovery processes and emotional well-being.
