From 20 to 21 July - at 15:00 Coordinated by: Dr Julio Fernández Garrido. Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Podiatry. Universitat de València.
When heart’s activity and spontaneous breathing are interrupted, only an appropriate and hard-working action can maintain enough cerebral blood flow for the person to have survival expectations. This action is called CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), especially if it involves the use of a defibrillator. The workshops teaches how to diagnose a cardiac arrest, how to do a CPR and how to use a defibrillator.
* At the end of the workshop, there will be an emergency drill with victims of varying severity who must be attended to.
