The Conselleria of Sanitat and the Department of Pediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Facultat of Medicine i Odontologia will collaborate in the study of the current situation of the maternal health-childish in the Comunitat Valencian, with the purpose to orient the planning of strategies and specific programs for his improvement, thanks to an agreement of collaboration signed by the Generalitat Valencian and the Universitat of València.

The aim that pretends  attain with this agreement is the development of studies on maternal health-childish, relative to factors and present conditions during the pregnancy and his impact on the childish, as well as possible problems derived in the school age.

The Department of Pediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics will contribute the methodology, the instruments and the necessary personnel to carry out the analyses of investigation. Professionals of this department will examine the information facilitated by the General Direction of Public Health and the corresponding studies object of this alliance.

Likewise, it will establish  a mixed commission of follow-up and control integrated by members of the Conselleria of Sanitat and personnel of the Department of Pediatrics. The agreement will have a force of four years and will be able to prorrogarse by agreement express of the parts by a period of until two years more.
