CECT organizes on April 27, 2015 a Scientific Conference in order to build the " Spanish Network of Microorganisms " REDESMI , under complementary action AC2013-00028 funded by INIA .
The conference, chaired by the Director of INIA D. Manuel Lainez, is aimed at the Spanish microbiologists maintaining collections of microorganisms mainly with agricultural and food interest generated by public funds. It aims to map the Spanish microbial resources and share experiences and opinions in order to join efforts in the conservation, development and exploitation of spanish microbial resources.
