The Degree in Physiotherapy aims to produce professionals in physiotherapy with the scientific skills and ability to describe, identify, consult and compare health problems related to the area of physiotherapy, using a set of procedures, techniques and measures which are used to help cure, recover and adapt those who have been affected by deteriorations, functional limitations or disabilities produced as a result of an injury, illness or other causes, while considering individuals in a threefold way: biologically, psychologically and socially.
The Degree in Physiotherapy allows graduates to practise the profession of physiotherapy in accordance with all legal requisites and regulations in force.
The experimental nature of the degree means that both the practical classes and external internships in clinics (in which direct contact with patients plays an important role) represent a fundamental part of the training offered by the University of Valencia to Physiotherapy students.
