Virginie was hitchhiking for punk concerts at 17. Jeanne could have died at 26, in the village where she was born, but at that time, she enlisted in a ship that would go around the world. Ana, at 27, decided to leave for India alone.

La libertad se toma is an intimate and multidisciplinary play on what it means to travel alone being a woman. A homage, a confession and a cry in the air, full of movement, shadows and music.

“Somos unas alocadas. No sabemos lo que hacemos. Pero queremos hacerlo con todo nuestro corazón.” (We are crazy. We don’t know what we're doing. But we wholeheartedly want to do it).

Theater tickets can be booked in advance at la Tenda de la Universitat (UV shop) at La Nau, and at the University campus, or on its website (https://events.fundacio.es/o/5). Tickets €3

All cultural activities programmed by the University Culture Service during the 2024/2025 academic year will have a solidarity nature dedicated to the victims of DANA; The proceeds from the tickets will go to the #UVajuda campaign started by the University of Valencia
